Though I did not interact with Harvey much in the office I did compete with him on the golf course. And we know how competitive golf was at NorthDiv. However, he was one of the most pleasant persons that I have encountered during my 40 year government career. My condolences to Harvey’s family. Rest in peace.

Tell each other how you feel before you pass.
Harvey and I insulted each other, competed with
each other, and went on adventures with each
other. When I was too sick to go to Coiba Island
in Panama on another adventure, Harvey took
my place with my grown children to their great
delight and forever fond memories.
I can’t replace you or your friendship;
I can only never forget you. You will always
be with me - remembering fishing as co-captains
of 2 charter boats in Cape May, NJ, trips to just
below the arctic circle, Costa Rica, Islamorada,
Panama, Coiba Island, Zion and so much more.
Harvey and I still love each other and even death
can’t change that.
I pray you could all find your Harvey and if you have
you know the blessing.

So sorry to learn of Harvey's passing. It's been a long time since I last saw him in person but I remember him fondly as his usual self. I consider him a friend and knew him for 25+ years from our time and dealings with the Navy at Northdiv. Rest in peace, Harvey. My sincerest condolences to his fiance, family, and friends.
