I have known Harvey for almost 50 years - since we were instructors at the Army's Medical Field Service School. We have stayed in touch all these years and shared visits, hunting and fishing stories and e-mails. Golf stories were a whole separate category! Harvey served in Vietnam with distinction and was an outstanding entomologist, but most of all he was funny, cared about his friends and family and was always fun to be with. I'm proud to have called him my friend and he will be missed by me and all who knew him.
Rest in Peace my friend,
John Erskine

Extremely saddened to hear of Harvey's death. Always enjoyed being with him when we were in the shore house together and the occasion when we were able to play golf together on the DuPont golf course. Of course, no one could ever forget his smile and how much he enjoyed telling jokes. My prayers are for Olga and the family.

So shocked to hear of the passing of one of the most likable employees at NorthDiv. During my thirty years at the Command I grew to expect a joke or two when I saw Harvey approaching. He kept us smiling.
In addition, I came to develop a genuine respect for his knowledge of Entomology .not only as pertained to insect life,
but also the treatment and control of insects and rodents during shipment of grain.
Harvey will be missed by all who crossed paths with him, but we all will be much wiser for it.

Uncle Harvey, Thank you for helping to shape me into the "weird bug girl", because of you there isn't a spider I won't rescue or a bee I can't identify. Thank you for teaching us golf terms, although we lived on a golf course and couldn't have been less interested in golf stories, your ability to tell the most mundane story in the most animated way always kept us interested. Thank you for playing Barbie's with us, although you couldn't have been less interested in Barbie's, watching my sister and my face light up with absolute joy, delight and love for your willingness to sit with us and make our dolls come to life always made you smile. Most of all thank you for being. Thank you for being our Uncle Harvey, thank you for loving us, thank you for always thinking of us, thank you for spending time with us. I have nothing but amazing memories of you, always laughing, always smiling, and because of those memories, Always with us.

I will miss him. He always commanded the room and was one of the truly funniest and cleverest people I have ever met (despite his corny jokes) I will miss the way he made me laugh at poker games and I will miss his emails. My prayers and condolences go out to Olga, his family and all his friends. The world is a sadder place with his passing. Maybe the Red Sox will win a world series for him
