Who We Are

In 1976, Joe and Chris Fluehr established a funeral home in Richboro, Bucks County, PA because they so strongly believed in helping families through the healing process. They created a family-owned funeral business which provided both personal and professional service to their community. Their goal was to offer the highest level of care and respect to families, while giving them a peaceful place to say goodbye to their loved ones.

Over the years, the Fluehrs have grown and expanded their business to meet the ever-changing needs of the families and communities they serve. Joe and Chris opened a second funeral home in New Britain Borough in 1997, which is located just outside of Doylestown. The new facility has all the amenities of the original location as well as some new ones they included based on their many years of experience.

Additionally, with many people choosing cremation, the Fluehrs opened a crematory in 2010, which is located at their Richboro location. By operating their own crematory, the funeral home is able to maintain the continuity, custody and care of the deceased.

Joe and Chris, along with their son, Joe IV, and their many staff, are all committed and involved members of their community. They serve on numerous boards, are active volunteers, and participate in many community events. Each member of the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home family and staff believes in service and works hard to earn your trust.
