Rest In Peace Bugman.

Harvey was a close and dear friend for 47 years. He and I worked together at NorthDiv for 35 years, and played on our championship basketball team for several of those years. Harv was our ace reporter for the Northern Star, writing about the games with his witty style. In recent years, hardly a day went by without emails from Harvey trying to brighten your day with a joke or offering his political outlook. Nancy and I have many memories of our times together - socializing, listening to his jokes and stories, on the golf course, fishing, playing poker, watching ball games and debating Philly versus Boston sports teams. Our condolences and prayers go out to Olga and Harvey's family for their loss. He will be truly missed.

We will miss our NAVFAC mentor, basketball and softball teammate, golf buddy and poker game contributor, but mostly his wit, humor and great friendship. We are sad, but will always smile when thinking of the experiences with him for the past 44 years.
Hate to say this but "Go Sox" get one for Harv.

Glad I still have photos and memories-- and even some of the raft of emails Harvey shared with a large group of friends and family, sharing his thoughts as well as photos, stories, nostalgia, political insights ––and of course jokes. But even more than momentos and memories I have the belief that on many levels, however transformed, we continue, and Harvey's ebullient spirit remains part of us. Many thanks to Lenny, who enabled many of us to stay informed and in touch during these last difficult days, and our hearts go out to Olga, with gratitude for all the support and love she gave Harvey over the years.

We will always remember Harvey from the seashore (Avalon) -- back in the '70s -- where we shared a house with him (and many others) for the summer, several summers in a row. Harvey was always the leader of the pack, suggesting activities we all happily went along with. Clever, funny, smart, and energetic, he was such a presence in our lives in those days. He will be sorely missed.
