I have always considered myself very lucky to have been born in to such a big and wonderful family. There were always so many family parties and get togetherness. One of my favorite memories of Uncle Bernie is playing football at mommom Celenza's on New Years Day! We always played with a football made out of tin foil. When teams were divided up everyone wanted to be on Uncle Bernie's team-- not because he was the best player but because he was an expect at "bending the rules". His play book was quite creative! But his team always won!!! Thank you for all the fun times and for being such a great uncle!! I will miss always!! Love you!

I remember when Uncle Bernie would have all of us for the Honeywell company picnic at West Point Park. Awesome childhood memories. Always talking Phillies and giving us all a laugh. And he was always the 'steady' quarterback with the rolled up newspaper that we would use as a football every New Years Day. You knew a good time was going to be had when Uncle Bernie showed up! Condolences to Aunt Carolyn and the rest of the family.

My favorite memories of Uncle Bernie is Sundays at my Dad 's house. We either watched the Eagles or the Phillies game. We would always have hot dogs and hot wings. We always had so many laughs. It is something my boys and I will always cherish. I am also grateful to Uncle Bernie for being with me every day when my Dad had his stroke. He would just come and keep me company while my dad was recovering. We spent a lot of time together and I am so glad he was there for me!!! I love you and I will miss you! Rest in Peace!

One of my first memories of Uncle Bernie was being down the shore. We all would go down there when we were kids to the Time and Tide Hotel in North Wildwood. Us kids took off and found a little arcade, and the grown up went looking for us. Uncle Bernie found us there playin pool, and started playing with us... showing us how to play and giving us tips. I still use those tips to this day when i am playing. The last few years when I would go home we would sit and talk about my trips overseas and what I was doing. I am going to miss you Uncle Bernie

My fond memories of Bernie were shooting pool at my parent's house. He and Aunt Carolyn would come down for dinner and then after dinner we'd go to the basement to shoot some pool. We played teams and quite often he and I were on the same team playing against my Dad and brother, Dave. Good times!
Rest in Peace, Bernie.
