Condolences for
Patricia J. Elliott

Miss Elliott was my first principal as I began my career in the Abington School District. She was a strict taskmaster, but someone from whom I could get much needed advice as a new teacher. She was always gracious and available whenever I needed her. She was truly a rare "teacher's teacher" who left her mark on the kind of educator I became.

I remember Ms. Elliot as an elementary teacher when I attended Olverlook Elementary School. She was my Huntingdon Junion High Principal with Ed Northam. She was also principal of Rydal Elementary. I remember the sound of her distinctive footsteps in the hallways.She led by example. I modeled a lot of her behaviors when I was in administration.
