My heart is heavy, Sad I'll never hear your infectious laugh again. I have so many wonderful memories of my childhood and I am so happy you were a part of them. You were a wonderful person, so very thoughtful and loving. We had a lot of fun times together! You were a great friend to my Mom & Dad and a great "aunt" to my brothers & I. I'm so glad we got to dance at my wedding, it meant so much to me that you & Mark were there! May you rest easy, pain free & in peace now. You will always be in my heart. We love you Mon!!! Xoxo

Mark and Monica are the best neighbors you could ever hope for. We have known them since we moved next door over 20 years ago. Monica - your house and garden were always beautiful, and we always enjoyed your company and your two dogs (doggie # 1 Topper, above in the photo, and doggie # 2, Puzzle). We had great times in Stockton - Monica was so involved in the town, from the Stockton Civic Association(remember that?), buying Stockton's Christmas decorations, helping out with our great school (always buying fundraiser items that the kids sell) and so much more - like our Church Street picnics we used to have with Greg & Sue, Marty and everyone else on the street, Christmas Caroling back in the day, and so on. Everyone should remember Monica's involvement every Holiday season when they see the tree and wreath decorations in Stockton - that is just one of her legacies. We will always remember her kindness towards our daughter Laurel, who always wanted to see the fish in her fish ponds in her beautiful garden.
Monica was always there when you needed a hand - we remember the time Joanne's Father passed away and we had to go to the hospital after midnight - we called Monica and she agreed to watch Laurel, who was 5 at the time, thru the night while we were at the hospital.
A good neighbor, lovely, kind and generous. A beautiful flower like her garden.
Monica - we will miss you greatly.

My condolences to Mark, Bob and Maria. While a "distant" cousin, whenever I saw Monica, what struck me was the uncompromising spirit about her. She was her mothers daughter.
Life is rarely fair, Monica's can teach us all something about moving on despite.
Love to all,
Mike

What a beautiful photo of Monica in her garden with Topper. You brought so much happiness to everyone around you, I will miss you greatly. I was so looking forward to visiting with you in the springtime.
You have left a legacy of strength in the face of this terrible disease. No matter what you kept your laughter, spunk and continued on your journey with enthusiasm and most of all your love of life.
There are few in life that can come close to who you were and you will always be in my heart.
I love you, Monica
Your friend,
Joyce
