Monica was my "soul sister.' I had the treasured gift of knowing her for the last 30 years, first as a sister-in-law, and then as a loving aunt to my son Jarrett, and to our mutual devotion to our dogs. Though she grew more ill in body, she never grew ill in spirit. We always had visits with laughter, reminiscences, and a bird's eye view of the world at large as we sat in her sunroom. Through it all was the constant devotion of her husband Mark, in from a run or work, as he came towards her with a smile and his affectionate nickname for Monie - "Bird."
To grieve deeply is a measure of our love. I know that many are deeply grieving Monica now. The last words I shared with her was "I love you." In my heart I know Monica is now reaping the abundance of love which will flow towards her during all our lifetimes.

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences to the entire family. I had the opportunity to work with Mark over the course of the past five months, and what always struck me was the happiness and ray of sunshine that lit up mark's face any time he talked to Monica. While I never Monica, she was painted as an incredibly beautiful individual, loving and very talented in all of her endeavors.
Rest in peace, Monica, God bless you.

My condolences go out to Mark, Bob and Maria. I have fond childhood memories of traveling to New Jersey to see my cousins. I also remember attending Mark and Monica's wedding with my Dad and the great time we had. I wish we were closer so I could have seen Monica more often. God bless all of you and our prayers are with you.
