Mr. Moore touched countless lives in his years as a teacher. He has always held place of distinction for me among teachers who challenged me to be better than I thought I could be. I will always remember reading the Sunday paper to study for Monday's current events quiz, writing my 9th grade term paper and stressing about making it exactly 15 pages, and countless hours studying for his tests. Thank you, Mr. Moore, for teaching me about the ancient world, U.S. history, government, and economics. I think your biggest lesson, though, came from learning that I am always capable of doing more than I realize with hard work.

Mr. Moore, you were hands-down one of my best and favorite teachers. You made us think, you made us laugh, and you challenged us. I was so glad I could take two of your classes over the years. Thank you for everything you ever did for your students and CR. We will miss you, but your legacy certainly lives on through all the lives you touched over the years.

Sending our deepest condolence to the Moore family. Our children Christopher (CRSHS 2006) and Chelsea (CRSHS 2009) were both blessed to have Mr. Moore as their Philosophy Teacher and Chelsea is a classmate of Ian's. We hope the family knows what a deep and lasting impact Mr. Moore and his thought-provoking teaching style had on our family. Chris and Chelsea both found him among their favorite teachers in high school. He thought them to question, examine, think and come to independent conclusions. He was a standout in their minds. Although both are currently living too far away to attend the services this week, please know we are ALL keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Moore made a difference in the lives of young people. He will truly be missed.
