I know that this is a few days late and I'm sorry, but I just recently became aware that mr. Moore had passed. Mr. Moore was one of the most caring individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. During my time at council rock I learned a great deal from him. I learned from him that if you want something bad enough, you should not give up , and that you should do everything in your power to obtain that goal. Mr. Moore will be greatly missed by every student that he has ever had in his classroom. If you were lucky enough to have him as a teacher you should know what I mean. I work at the Superfresh in Richboro and even after I graduated from south I still saw him every week or so with his wife and Ricky sometimes. Every time I saw him , he brightened up my day, just by the words of advice that he would always give. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. He was an outstanding teacher and an even better person. Teach on mr. Moore and rest in peace .

I was lucky enough to have Mr. Moore 3 times during my junior high and high school career. The lessons I learned in his class were more than just the recitation of dates and facts about history. Mr. Moore taught me how to think for myself, dig underneath the surface of what was obvious, and that anything worth doing is worth the work it requires. Mr. Moore might have been tough, but he was always fair and genuinely cared about his students. He really prepared me for tasks and challenges that I have since encountered, and I am truly thankful for that.
My thoughts are with the Moore family - Mr. Moore will be missed.

I still can't believe it...
Some of my greatest high school memories were from philosophy class with this incredible teacher. He truly opened my eyes to a world so much bigger than myself & anything I could ever imagine. He helped me through easily the most difficult time of my life & fostered inside of me a person I never knew I was or could be. Observing him teach 2 years later when I was an education major only made my respect & admiration for him grow. Mr. Moore was so much more than an educator to so many people. I still rave about his class to this day & how it completely changed me as a person. I can never express enough gratitude to him for all that he's done, not just in my life, but in the lives of so many students, teachers & every soul who was lucky enough to know him. I pray for his soul, his family & the preservation of his absolutely incredible memory. Rest in peace, Mr. Moore. And thanks again for everything you have done in my life & all your lessons will continue to teach me as I grow.

He left a strong impression on me as a student, something very few teachers have been able to do. He will be missed.
