Alex was a joy to have in class and I am very sorry for your loss. He was a lot of fun and will be missed by everyone!

Dear Sellen Family,

I was so very saddened to hear of the passing of Alex. He was a friend to my son Shane and we enjoyed when he would come to our house for a visit. He would always make sure he sat with my husband and I to tell us about everything he was up to. He was a warm, funny and amazing young man who will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

I met Alex in 2011 while attending BCCC together. We served on SGA and his presence made that a remarkable time in my life. Alex treated everyone with kindness and every event or task that he took part in he did with a smile. I remember the 1st pep rally and how excited he was to dress up as the centurion. I will remember alex always and I would like to thank you for sharing him with us.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your son. I remember the day he was born, John was so excited. I knowed John for over 30 years, I was his neighbor at Tech school (Carpentry/Masonry)and it is a shock to hear that Alex pass away. Our prayer are with you and your family.
