I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Having just lost my 100 year old mother in July, I know how powerful and devastating the loss of someone who is your biggest fan is. No matter the length of time a parent has lived the loss is searing, and the moments to come - you will find yourself imagining your parent (dad for you, for me my mom) ready to let you know how to do it better but still proud of the choices you have made. And always letting you know how well loved you are. TO you Michael Smerconish, to the world, or rather your media fan base - we your listeners owe your dad (ie parent) a debt of gratitude for making you the person who are today. Again I know I speak for many - we are deeply and sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of your loss ... my mother passed last month at 99 ... my heart hurts, but I feel that my mom, and your dad, had great runs ... they lived large and saw so much ... thinking of you from 🇨🇦

I’m so sorry for your loss. It will take time, the pain doesn’t lessen, we learn to live with it. Being a faithful viewer of your program often made me think of your parents, how they were able to raise such an objective son.
May your Dad’s memory be a blessing.
