I will always remember you spending your days in Tyler state park sitting in your car and loving every minute that you were outside. I loved taking you out and getting lunch with you and you telling me stories about your hunting trips and all the interesting things you did in your life. You were a very interesting person and one of the smartest people I ever knew. Every u knew only had great things to say about you and you got to know everyone you came in contact with on such a personal level. I will miss you so much for the rest of my life and I hope that I can be half of the man you were and accomplish the things you did. I love u forever and always pop-pop.

Some kids look like their parents. Some get their personalities. Some get their sense of humor or stubbornness. Well guess what? I've been told I hit the father load. I can only hope that I have a fraction of your intelligence and your appreciation for nature & animals. I will, however, never want to eat liver. I'll never get the putting salt in beer "just to watch the small bubbles". I'll continue to enjoy non-pareils (and remember how much of a treat they were from Sears) I'll remember the trips to the mountains and how you were able to tell a story, made up as you went, the entire drive there. I'll remember getting soft pretzels and you digging out the dough and tossing the "dough balls" pass my face as you threw them out my window. I'm glad I had a chance to fly with you after you got your license (as beautiful as Mount Rainier is - you scared the crap out of me) All of these make up a story. A story that I promise to continue with my kids. Enjoy your walks now. I'll think of you often and next time I'm in the park I'll try to pick out the perfect walking stick, just so we both have one. I love you Dad.

To the Tyndall family, Having just lost my father, I know your pain & my prayers are with each of you. It's hard to know what to say, but you must all know that you gave him love & peace in his last days. I'm sure he felt this and realized how blessed he was to have you all in his life. Now we hold on to our faith that he is with our loving & forgiving Father-no more pain, no more suffering.
