We are heartbroken to hear of John's passing. He was kind, thoughtful and caring. He always looked for the best in us. We are grateful for his support of our son and of each of the young men on the Haverford baseball team. His joy and enthusiasm was infectious. His uplifting and generous spirit lives on in the hearts of the lives he touched so deeply. Jeannie, you and the boys, your family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.

We both had the great pleasure of spending many hours at games with John and Jeannie for the last 6 years. While we enjoyed vast members of the Haverford family, I think the smile and joy that you both brought to every encounter was unmatched. Selfishly we always gravitated to whatever spot either of you took at a game because we knew that the experience would be positive, enthusiastic and personal.
As we reflect on John, which we do often, the image that we both have is of the bright infectious smile followed by a hug that you deeply felt. Whether it had been a week or months, the connection was always there and always heartfelt.
It is hard to imagine going to game and not scanning the crowd for John, but I am sure that will happen every time and first there will be a feeling of loss, but after reflection, it will be followed by a smile that warms the heart and the certainty that we are all better for having known John and had the joy of spending time with him.
Jeannie - our thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys every day as you move forward. Each time you see your boys you know that John "lives on in each of them" and that you both did something very special.
All our love, the Miraglias

Dear Jeannie,
Andy & I were saddened to hear of John's passing. We have great memories of the days when our boys played together on many sports teams, John was a wonderful coach who touched the lives of so many kids and parents. He surely touched us. We pray God gives you the comfort and strength you need in this difficult time.

Our hearts are absolutely broken for you, Jeannie and your three wonderful sons.
We had the absolute pleasure of spending many an afternoon watching Haverford baseball with you and John. He was a ray of sunshine to all of us.
Joe and I were always so touched at the way John would smile with pride every time Nicky was at bat.
We have treasured memories of those times and will truly miss him. John was full of encouraging words for our Mike and all the young men who proudly played for Haverford.
Know we are sending all our love and heartfelt wishes for strength to you at this incredibly difficult time.
Love,
Susan and Joe
