Mommy, words cannot describe how much I miss you right now. I go to bed at night and when i wake up i hope it's all a dream, but the second my eyes open, you're in my thoughts until i sleep once again. It will never sink into my mind why you had to leave so soon but you're in a better safer place now. I know you are happy and that's all I could ask for.

Even though you can't be here physically, I know you'll being telling me how beautiful i look everyday. No one will ever be able to bust out Whitney and shake it like Beyonce as well as you. No one will ever be able to tease me about the way I said "sandwich" and "Cancun" or how i walked like a pigeon and it be the same. I wouldn't have picked a better person to help me clean myself up with on the 4th of July in Philly and thank you for being the one person that almost always remembered I couldn't smell.

I promise I'll work hard everyday to keep you proud of everything i do.. and now that i can finally say it knowing i can win.... I love you more, sweet dreams mommy. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite! Until we meet again...

No words can express the sadness that I feel on the loss of Denise. My heart is broken. I worked with Denise years ago on 2west. She was always bubbly. She took care of my mom in the ER several times. I will never forget the compassion she gave my mom. She was a great nurse and I will never forget her. We shared many of good times on 2west. Comfort thoughts is that she has risen with our LORD on this beautiful EASTER DAY. Love and prayers to the Case and McQuaid.

Denise had a very loving, supportive group of loved ones who always surrounded her with compassion and commitment. She touched so many of us bringing joy, laughter, and care to everyone she encountered.

We are all aching today for the sadness Denise was living and for those she's left behind. My prayers are first and foremost for Rachel and Matthew as well as her parents as you all learn to proceed through life without her physically by your side. May you live the rest of your lives honoring such a wonderful mother and daughter. For those she was closest to, I pray for your peace as well. Your circle has been broken, and I know your hearts are as well. Steve, I pray that you will continue raising your children with the love and desires the two of you planned for the kids.

May each of us find the special memories we had with Denise reason to smile during the difficult minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months to come.

Tearfully,
Kimberly
