I just learned of Mark's death and I just want to express to his family how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I worked with Mark at Schering and he was such a fun and inspiring person to work with! I am just shocked by his death. He will be missed greatly! I will keep your family in my prayers!

I only learned today of Mark's passing. I don't know whether you will get this or not, but I thought I would try.

I knew Mark as a business associate; he was my customer. All dealings were always professional and friendly, no matter what the circumstances. And we shared a love for the Red Sox. Please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss, and know that in the business community, Mark was well-respected.

And to have had the pleasure of being at their wedding and then at his daughter's, was truly an honor. It was beautiful to see him beaming with the same pride he had the day he got married, as the day his daughter got married too!
