Michael A. Blatz

Michael, I will miss you and our 'spirited' talks. You were a great adviser and friend. Sandy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I just learned of Mike's sudden passing, and it touched me on so many levels. I have not seen Mike since our times in high school and college, but when his name was mentioned to me, in my mind's eye I immediately saw his face smiling that smile that was both fun-loving and mischevious, as he so often did in those days. As I read all of the preceding messages in this Guestbook, it is obvious that Mike continued to leave his mark on all the lives he touched over the years.

I am sorry that I could not pay my respects in person. To all of Mike's family and friends, you have my deepest sympathies at your loss.

There are many special people in life but Mike stands above and alone as an amazing family guy, good friend, and joyful human being. We especially want to support Sandy and the kids as they go through this painful loss . Please know Mike is loved and will continue to be an influence in many lives and in gratitude we are here to do whatever we can to help you all during this time. I know its unimaginable to think of life without Mike for you, his family. He lives on in all our hearts and you will feel that. Blessings to you, The Phillips family

Mike you were my first facebook "friend"!! My neice put me on in the middle of a snowstorm and friended you!(Since i wasn't good at this stuff!) you wrote back yo say "hi" and 6 wks later you wrote back again saying "Maria why am i still your one and only friend on facebook!Get with it girl!!" Thank god u did, as i got to see your wonderful family and pictures!! I've since got better with it!My heart goes out to the Blatz family and remember how lucky they all were to have him in their lives even know it was a short time.God bless and take care!
