I am deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. He was dedicated, authentic, knowledgeable and loyal employee of Rohm and Haas. It was a pleasure to have worked him for so many years. My heart is with you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Eleanor and Family, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful person to those who worked for him (myself at Rohm and Haas) and one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and get the Public Relations Group going. I remember that he adored his family and spoke of you all so often. I had the pleasure of knowing John during my 21 years at Rohm and Haas. John was a fixture at the corporate headquarters building - always dependable and committed to the organization. Being an early bird, I recall that John was probably the only person who arrived at the office before me. John will be missed.

I am struck and saddened to hear about John's death, and even more so since I am unable to attend any of the services to honor and celebrate his life. He was a true pioneer and institution, not only within Rohm and Haas but throughout the Philadelphia region. Kind blessings and thoughts to his family, friends, and colleagues. There are indeed many.
