Dear Eleanor and Family,
This is incredably sad. Life is short and sometimes long. This is one of those times it is long. Every minute without your husband and father and grandfather drags for ever and sometimes goes by in a flash. We will always remember how John made us seem like we were the only persons in the room. We always felt "special" when we were with him and talking about "old" times. He had that wonderful way of making us feel good and glad to be alive. He was truly a "man" who lived his life to the fullest. We will miss him and his big smile and his love for us.
All our love and prayers for peace,
Mary Pat and Jerry

I remember John well from my days at Rohm and Haas Communications Department when I worked under John. He spearheaded many advancements in that area and always had a smile on his face. I am saddened by his passing and offer my sincere condolences to his family.

John was a friend of mine, and a respected colleague. He knew a lot about human resources and made my job that much easier because of it. A true Irishman, he was a man of great integrity, kindness, and always was upbeat and positive. We plan to say the Rosary for John, and all who love him, and we pray that the Blessed Mother will watch over him. There's a beautiful biblical passage that we hope will comfort John's family and friends, and which gives us all hope: "...And on that day, we shall see You, our God, as You really are. You will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death, nor pain, nor suffering for the old order will have passed away." All our love and prayers, Steve & MarySandra Foster, Friendswood, Texas
