What an amazing man - he was clearly grateful to God for life and he lived it to the fullest. May Our Lord welcome him to the highest "summit" - the eternal kingdom of Heaven. God Bless you Bartholemew Brown - for He has blessed many with you.

Dear Mary Beth and the whole Brown Family,
I am so sorry to have heard of your loss and my prayers are with you in this tragic time.
I can honestly say that from knowing Bart during my childhood, I have never met someone who lived his life with more gratitude and ease of spirit than Bart.
I know nothing can console such a tragic passing however from all the postings I've read online, it seems as though Bart did more in his short time on earth than most people do in a lifetime.
James M Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, wrote the book Peter Pan for his own brother who passed away when he was just a child. Peter Pan represented his brother, Neverland was heaven, and that is why in the story Peter Pan never grows up, but rather lives a life of constant adventure.
My favorite quote from that book, is a moment when Peter Pan realizes that he might die, and for the first time in his entire existence he's afraid. But then he smiles! Because he realizes that "To die will be an awfully big adventure!" I have no doubt that Bart is currently smiling, because his greatest adventure has just begun.
You will all be in my prayers as well as the prayers of the whole Camerota family.
Love,
Joe Camerota

Living with Bart for one year in the DC area, I was truly blessed to have known him. Few people can honestly say that they gave 110% to everything they set their mind too. Bart was one of those few. I will keep the Brown family and repose of Bart's soul in my prayers. God bless you all.

My dear Brown family. I'm Marta, I lived with you in Phi 13 years ago, more or less. Marybeth told me the bad news and I´ve been in shock for a long time. The time that i lived with you, always be in m heart and was the best summer of my life. I adore each of you Toni, George, Tania, Thadius, Manya, Andrew and Peter, you are my great American family and you´ll be always in my heart forever. I have followed all your steps in life (marriage, children, travel etc ...) and a few years ago I met with Manya and Bart in NY.
This summer I talked with Bart when he was in Madrid and i discovered a wonderful man. I can not believe what has happened and i pray every night for Bart and for you all. I would love to go to the funeral but i told Manya i cant in this moment because we have a health problem in the family and I can not do long trips now.
I´ll always remember when I met Bart the first time, when he sang a spanish song espalola called "la cucaracha" it was so funny, his shyness, his eyes was so pure and clean. He had almost angelic beauty.
Always be in my heart and pray for him each second. I love all of you very much and whatever you need it, let me know.
"Bart lived in a life, what many do not get to live. And especially enjoyed every moment with a smile on his face"
I love you and miss you,
