My deepest sympathy to Peg and the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Words are inadequate to express the loss I feel. My heart hurts. I have lost a dear old friend. There are so many fond memories of time spent with Mike and his family throughout our childhood, high school, and college years. We truly grew up together. He was always a kind and gentle soul. There is comfort knowing that he is with his parents and mine.

Deepest sympathies to the Havener family. I worked with Mike for several years at Layne and knew him to be very professional, forthright, and honest. Truly a good and decent man, and will be missed greatly.

Mike was the kindest person I've ever had the privilege of working with. He always had a kind word to say, and thanked everyone for even the smallest help or gesture.
His calm presence was a blessing in this industry, and especially welcomed in our offices.
He will always have a quiet place in my heart:-)
His family is in my thoughts and prayers, and Mike is now in the nearer presence of God.
