Marilyn M. Fisher, nee Kemler, of Southampton, and formerly of Levittown, died peacefully on Sunday, July 22nd, at St. Joseph's Manor in Meadowbrook, Pa. She was 86.

She was the beloved wife of the late Jay S. Fisher.

Born in Fern Glen, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Skoff Kemler.

Mrs. Fisher and her husband were one of the original families of Levittown. She left school at an early age to join the workforce in the fabric mills. She started out at Duplan's Silk Mill in Hazelton, Pa., and then moved on to the Nuremberg dress factory as a finisher. When Marilyn and her husband Jay moved to Levittown in 1952, she worked at Kresge's 5 &10 in the Levittown Shopping Center for a short while, and then later she worked for 28 years for the Bristol Township School District as a custodian until her retirement in 1986. ln her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, creating memories that will last forever. She will be sorely missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.

Marilyn is survived by her loving children; Bonita L. Barker and her husband Gary, of Southampton, Pa and Jeffrey J Fisher and his wife Judy, of Hazleton, Pa. She is also survived by her grand daughter Colleen Stewart and her companion Dave Abrams, her 3 great grand children, Sean, Sydney, and Keegan, of Trevose, Pa., her sister Thelma Singley, of Ellenton, Fla., a brother-in-law, James L Fisher of Sugarloaf, Pa, and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn's family will receive condolences on Saturday, July 28 from1:00 PM until her Memorial Service at 2.00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr lll Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, Pd., 18954. lnterment will be private.
