Maureen Teresa Hughes, age 56, of Upper St. Clair, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, died Sunday October 5, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife for 24 years to Edward J. Hughes; loving mother of Emily V. Hughes; devoted daughter of Rose T. and the late James F. Gallagher; cherished sister of Laurie Luff (Larry), James Gallagher (Miho), and Rosemary Boyle (David); daughter-in-law of Avery E. Hughes; sister-in-law of Donna Pili (John); also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am — 9:15am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.(at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and to her Funeral Mass 10:00am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
