Grace C. Silver, 102, of Yardley, PA died Friday, May 17, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was the beloved wife of the late John Clarence Silver.

Born in Morganton, North Carolina, in the community of Joy, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Fannie (Cox) Perry. Grace is survived by her daughters, Elaine S. DeTurk (late Mark) of Coatesville, PA, Barbara L. Correll (Philip) of Yardley, PA, and Elizabeth K. Kenny (James) of Emmaus, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Una Propst of Morganton, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her nieces and nephews. Grace is predeceased by siblings Ruth Epley, J. Von Perry, Marler R. Perry, Forrest A. Perry and E. Glenn Perry.

Grace attended Appalachian State Teachers College and was a teacher prior to marrying her husband John, at which time they moved to Philadelphia, PA. They enjoyed returning to their North Carolina families often.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am on Thursday, May 23rd at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Bensalem Baptist Church, 3351 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
