Rodney J.F. Thorpe, of New Hope died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at his residence. He was 79.

Rodney was the beloved husband of Amelia Tolman Thorpe.

Born in Liverpool, England, he was the son of the late John F. and Sarah Cooney Thorpe.In addition to his beloved wife, Rodney is survived by his loving children; Helen C. Thorpe (Francis X. McGowan), Simon R. Thorpe and Jeanette M. Thorpe. He is also the dear brother of Paulette, Rita and Lorna. He was the proud grandfather of Dianna Marie Thorpe.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 13th, 2013 from 9:45 am until his Funeral Mass 10:30 am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA.

Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
