Laura G. Carr of Chalfont passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Abington Jefferson Health Hospital in Abington.  She was 86. 

Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Walter and Laura Herr Robinson.

Laura grew up in Philadelphia and was a 1950 graduate of Little Flower High School.  Over fifty years ago she moved to Chalfont and raised her family here.  Laura loved all kinds of animals and had many pets throughout her life from dogs to even a parrot. She was skilled with her hands and enjoyed knitting and doing various crafts. She also enjoyed playing bingo and the occasional trip to the casino, where she always came home a winner.

She is survived by her four children, Daniel Carr Jr. and his wife Patricia of Chalfont, Terry Deighan and her husband Kevin of St. Michaels, MD, Paul Carr and his wife Krisen of Chalfont, Kenneth Carr and his wife Denise of Chalfont and mother of the late Susan Carr. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Hull and her husband John, May Brown and Jane Mee.  She was predeceased by her three brothers Bobby Robinson, Charlie Robinson and Jimmy Robinson.  She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5:00 pm until her Memorial Service 7:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  Her interment will be held privately.
