John Joseph Ehrmann, Jr., of Holland, PA died peacefully at home on Friday, November 23, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth K. Davis Ehrmann. The couple shared 47 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John Joseph Ehrmann Sr. and Eleanor Neri.

John was strong, tough and dedicated. He was a hero to many, but the center of the family to his wife and children. As a decorated US Ranger having served during Vietnam, he was a master marksman, weapons & hand to hand expert/instructor. He was also “Dad” and relished watching his sons grow up. He enjoyed teaching his sons to play baseball and football; and time spent hunting and fishing. He loved to “tinker”, play guitar and could fix just about anything with the simple items around him.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, John is survived by his sons, John J. Ehrmann, III (Kimberly Corazo) and Jeffrey M. Ehrmann (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Gabrielle, Jeffrey, Amanda and Christian; his great grandson, Anthony; his brothers, Robert Ehrmann and Joseph Ehrmann; his sisters, Margaret Hawkins and Monica Usher and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet John’s family on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 10:30am until the start of his Prayer Service, 11:30am at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. His committal, with Military Honors, will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s name may be made to Elizabeth Ehrmann.
