Joseph F. Moore, Sr. of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.  He was 76.

Joe was preceded in death by his fiancé Elizabeth H. Costanzo.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony Moore and Angelina Abruscato D’Orazio (Angelo).

Joe graduated from North Catholic High School and went on to begin his career with Richardson-Vicks, which later became Proctor & Gamble, where he worked more than 30 years until his retirement.

He was quite gregarious and loved to laugh and have a good time. His magnetic personality, natural charisma, and generosity made him a friend to everyone – he was the kind of man who would give you his last dime if you needed it. He took pride in caring for those he loved, most especially his beloved Liz. Joe was an avid football fan and enjoyed horse racing.  He was also talented in the kitchen, having prepared countless batches of gravy and meatballs over the years, which were always appreciated by family and friends. In the true Italian tradition, one of his most frequent phrases was, “Did you get enough to eat?”

Joe loved to have fun and crack jokes; even through some difficult medical setbacks in recent years, he still managed to charm his doctors and nurses and he quickly became one of their favorite patients. His positive spirit and gentle nature will be missed by the many whose lives he touched.

Surviving are Joe’s children, Joseph F. Moore, Jr. (Troy Gremillion) of Houston, TX and Michelle Knight of Warminster.  He was the adoring “Pappy” to his granddaughter, Christina Knight, and he also leaves behind his brother, Frank Moore (Mary Ann) of Hatboro; and his nieces, Dawn Yanni (Kenny) and Heather Fagan (Jack); and his Fiance` Elizabeth's family.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:00  AM at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 S. Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940.  His interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Mary Medical Center Foundation, One Summit Square, Suite 300, 1717 Langhorne-Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047.
