Regina Loftus of New Hope died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne surrounded by her loving family. She was 83.
Regina was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Francis R. Loftus.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Carey Hand.

Hallahan Catholic Girl’s High School in Philadelphia and was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Buckingham. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time at the beach in Wildwood Crest and will be remembered for her infectious laugh that she shared with everyone. Regina is survived by her children, Timothy Loftus and his wife Bernadette of Perkasie, Francis Loftus and his wife Suzanne of Churchville and Kelly Loftus Richards and her husband Bob of Newtown. Regina is survived by her brother Joseph Hand of Philadelphia, her sister Johanna Nicholson of Philadelphia, and her cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Paul), Nicholas, Katherine and Erin, her great granddaughter Sofia along with her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday, August 27th from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902. Regina’s interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
