Theodora E. Czerniak (Runowicz)
August 24th, 2018
Theodora E. Runowicz Czerniak passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was 91.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife to the late Theodore Czerniak, and daughter to the late Victor Runowicz and Amelia Arbocus Runowicz.
Theodora moved to Bucks County with her husband and family in the early 1960s where they built their own house on Jericho Mountain. There she was a joyful homemaker whose greatest pleasure was to spend time with her family. She loved to travel, to cook, and to play piano.
Theodora is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Martin Czerniak and his spouse, Allene Kline Czerniak; Louise Kurtz and her spouse, James Kurtz; Teresa Present and her spouse, William Present; Christine Richardson and her spouse, Jeff Richardson; and Julia Czerniak and her spouse, Mark Linder. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Justin Czerniak, Kara Turner, Theodore Present, Samuel Present, Azriel Czerniak Linder, and Lucja Czerniak Linder.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at the Old Church of St. Andrew, 133 Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
Lucille T. Grzymkowski (Belcourt)

Lucille T. Grzymkowski of Morrisville formerly of Langhorne. Died suddenly on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Cooper Medical Center, Camden, NJ. She was 80.
Born in Manchester NH, Lucille was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Grzymkowski for 58 years, daughter of the late Roland and Fabiola Hemond Belcourt.
Lucille and her husband Joe moved to Langhorne in 1983. She was a faithful communicant of the Church of St. Andrew, Newtown. Lucille was a graduate of St. Georges High School, Class of 1955. She then received her nursing degree from Notre Dame de Lourdes and subsequently began a diversified career as an operating room nurse. Over her career, she became licensed in CT, PA and NJ. She was the former Director of Nurses at Chandler Hall in Newtown from 1984 to 1990. Lucille also did some teaching at Buckingham Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Twining Village for several years. She was the Regional Director of Nursing Operations of twelve nursing homes in CT and Mass. She was an associate Director of Nursing Operations for Total Care Pharmacy in NJ. She was also a home care supervisor for Medical Personnel Pool, and a state inspector in CT for state run schools for mentally challenged. Lucille loved the Health Care profession and gave her heart and soul to each and every patient.
She enjoyed baking, knitting and was an avid reader, loved the outdoors, especially with her dogs. Lucille will be sadly missed by her devoted family and many friends.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children and their spouses Joseph A. Grzymkowski and his wife Arlene of Kent Island MD, James Grzymkowski and his wife Carol of Clayton, NC, Janet Horn and her husband Richard of Morrisville and Steven Grzymkowski and his wife Christine of Pipersville and her sister, Sr. Janet Belcourt C.S.C. of Manchester NH. She is also the proud grandmother of her 13 grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Rick, Nicholas, Theresa, Stephanie, Meghan, Julia, Emma, Evan, Aaron, Olivia and Sophie; and 4 great grandchildren, Sebastian, Avery, Ignacio and Archer.
Lucille’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro; and on Wednesday morning from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass, 11:00am at the Church of St. Andrew 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

Regina Loftus of New Hope died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne surrounded by her loving family. She was 83.
Regina was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Francis R. Loftus.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Carey Hand.
Regina was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Churchville in 1972 and eventually moved to New Hope in 1997. She was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girl’s High School in Philadelphia and was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Buckingham. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time at the beach in Wildwood Crest and will be remembered for her infectious laugh that she shared with everyone. Regina was a caretaker to all and at times maintained a balance for moments of solitude for herself. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.
Regina is survived by her children, Timothy Loftus and his wife Bernadette of Perkasie, Francis Loftus and his wife Suzanne of Churchville and Kelly Loftus Richards and her husband Bob of Newtown. Regina is survived by her brother Joseph Hand of Philadelphia, her sister Johanna Nicholson of Philadelphia, and her cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Paul), Nicholas, Katherine and Erin, her great granddaughter Sofia along with her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday, August 27th from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902. Regina’s interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

Kathryn T. “Kitty” McGinley (nee Shaughnessy) of Ocean City, NJ and formerly of Rydal, PA passed away on on August 19, 2018.
Beloved wife of 65 years of the late Raymond M. Loving Mother of Raymond McGinley (Kathleen), Mary Jean Kee (Dennis), Patrick A. McGinley (Jean), Maureen Deely (Kevin), Kathleen Benner (David), Hubert McGinley (Lori). Also survived by 30 dear grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.
Kitty’s greatest pleasure was serving others and bringing joy wherever she went.

It is with great sadness that the family of David A. Ritter announces his passing from a sudden heart attack on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 69. He was born March 31, 1949 to the late Clifford P. and Alice E. Hickings Ritter and has been member of the Rushland community his entire life. After graduating from Central Bucks High School in 1967, he went on to lead a full life. He began his career as a welder for Miller and Son Quarries where he worked for many years before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey by opening K and D Growers and later Warwick Green Grinders. Dave loved animals, drag racing, and has spent time recently honing his marksmanship skills on the range. He enjoyed being around his family and friends and will be remembered by those close to him as great friend who was always there for them in their time of need.
Dave is survived by his loving children: Daniel Ritter and his wife Erica, Megan Orlando and her husband Chris, and Patricia Ritter. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Logan and Sienna Ritter and his step sons Kyle and Bryce Jamison.

Jane (nee Haering) Coale of Harleysville went to be with her Lord at the Birches at Arbour Square on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was 86. Prior to living at the Birches she was a resident of Churchville for 59 years.
Jane was the beloved wife of the late Perry Lamm Coale with whom she had shared 35 years of marriage.
Born on November 13, 1931 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Mae (nee Morton) Haering.
Jane graduated from Olney High School and Pierce Business School and was employed for the Council Rock School District as Secretary to the Principal of Newtown and Holland Middle Schools for 27 years. She was a charter member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and remained a member for over 55 years. She will be missed and remembered with love by all who knew her.
Surviving are her children, Cindy Steele (Dave) of Augusta, GA, Deb Freece (Ed Lightkep) of Green Lane, PA, and Carol Dothé (Craig) of Linwood, NJ. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren, Jonathan (Erin) & Matthew (Amanda) Steele, Becca Peace (Kevin), Michael Steele, Joshua Freece (Carolyn), Jamie Freece, and Amanda & Zach Dothé; and eleven great-grandchildren with one more due in November.

Robert J. “Bob” Mathews of Yardley passed away surrounded by his wife and family on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, Hamilton NJ. He had just turned 68.
Bob was the loving and devoted husband of 43 years to the love his life and his best friend’s sister, Cecelia “Ceil” Soweski Mathews.
A graduate of Bound Brook High School in New Jersey, Bob went on to be drafted by the United States Army and served proudly during Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1971. He later led a long career in the auto body business, most recently working as an auto body painter for Bill Flannery Automotive in Bensalem.
Bob was an avid sportsman stock car driver and enjoyed traveling to watch races with his family. He loved watching all types of racing, the Phillies, and Eagles and was proud to be a Philadelphia fan this past January. He also attended Phillies spring training every year and took the whole family along for the ride.
Perhaps most important to Bob’s wife and family are the memory of his sense of humor, the ease of which you could talk to him about anything at all and not be judged, and the fact that he was an undercover hopeless romantic, always recognizing special occasions for Ceil with the sweetest cards he could find. He will be dearly missed but his memory will be treasured by the countless people whose lives he’s touched.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children, Cheryl Seery (Justin), and Joseph Mathews (Kelly). He was also the beloved Pop-Pop to his granddaughter, Emilyn Seery who he adored deeply.
He also leaves behind brother, Harold Mathews (Debbie); his brothers-in-law, Robert Soweski (Diana) and Peter Soweski (Cecilia); his sisters-in-law, Sharon Sodon (Rich), Lynn Williams (Jack), and Catherine Kammerer (late John); and 14 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Mathews (Karen).

Elizabeth R. Reynolds (Bettie)

Elizabeth (Bettie) R. Reynolds of Chalfont passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by her adoring daughters. She was 70 years young.
Bettie was the daughter of the late Randolph and Mary Doherty Proulx.
Bettie was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from Little Flower High school. As a teenager she was a regular on American Bandstand. She moved to Chalfont with her daughters in 1994. Bettie lovingly raised her three daughters as a single mother and worked hard to provide them with a wonderful and loving childhood. She was the Mom anyone would be Blessed to have. Bettie retired from Prudential Insurance company in 1991. She loved music, dancing, her family and friends and she was always smiling. Bettie became a Grammie in 2001 and that was her favorite role ever. She babysat all four of her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. Bettie was a published poet, and a wonderful, talented artist. In her leisure time, she crocheted baby blankets and hats and scarves and volunteered her time at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales. Her joy for the Christmas season started early every year in July and she made sure that all received beautiful handmade gifts. Bettie was young at heart and spirit and most recently went sky diving to celebrate her 70th birthday in April. Bettie will be dearly missed by her family and by all who came to know and cherish her.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Shellie Reynolds of Chalfont, Suzanne Delquardo and her husband Robert of Lansdale and their sons Eric and Ryan, Valerie Haynos, her husband Dennis, and their sons, Ethan and Aidan, of Chalfont. She also leaves behind her granddog Gabriella; her sisters Ella Ryan of Philadelphia and Florence Klopfenstein of Ohio and many nieces, a nephew, great nieces, great nephews, two great-great nieces whom she loved with all her heart and too many wonderful friends to mention.

Dennis Joseph O'Leary Sr., Esq.

Dennis J. O’Leary, Sr. Esq. of Holland died peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at age 77.
Dennis was the beloved husband of 53 years to Judith A. Cantwell O’Leary.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Catherine Brannigan O’Leary and brother of the late Joseph O’Leary.
Dennis was a proud ’62 graduate of Villanova University and later attended Law School at Temple University. After many dedicated years as a Senior Partner with White and Williams LLP of Philadelphia, he retired in 2005. Dennis enjoyed fishing, traveling, strolling in Tyler Park, photography and volunteering with organizations close to his heart, especially St. Andrew Catholic Church. Some of his happiest days were spent in Ocean City, NJ. He loved the companionship of his dogs and delighted in spending time with his many dear friends. Above all, Dennis cherished his family and created innumerable memories that will remain in the hearts and minds of his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife Judith, Dennis is survived by his loving and devoted children: Dennis J. O’Leary Jr and his wife Tracy of Doylestown, Terrance P. O’Leary of Langhorne, Patricia M. O’Leary Smith and her husband Steven of Princeton Junction, and Maryann O’Leary Salas and her husband David Salas de la Cruz of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren: Madison, Aidenn, Kaliegh, Joseph, Colin, Avery, Mackenzie, Kate, Emily, and Mila, his sister, Kathleen O’Leary, brother, Jack O’Leary, his former daughter in law, Susan O’Leary, Brittany Ferrara, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Harry J. Gabriel of Churchville passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 62.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Mary E. Seitter of Churchville and the late Robert J. Gabriel.
Harry graduated from Council Rock High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. He worked for many years in the construction business in various roles before most recently working as a mortgage appraiser.
In addition to his career, Harry was an avid woodworker and talented musician, especially on the trumpet and drums. He had an off the wall sense of humor and was also a founding member of the “Handsome Gentleman’s Club”. His caring and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, Harry is survived by his son, Adam Gabriel and his wife, Kelly; his siblings, Robert J. (Kathleen), Michael (Victoria), Mary Castor (Robert), Larry (Debbie), Joseph (Christine), Glenn (Amber), and Thomas. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews and extended family.
