James S. Dunn, Sr., of Doylestown, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was 72 years old.

He was the loving husband of 54 years, of Donna L. Condo Dunn.

Born in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late James and Josephine Catherine Roselle Dunn.

Jim was a proud veteran, having served with the US Navy. He was also the past President of the Huntingdon Fire Dept. and the #2 Fire Co., both of Huntingdon, PA. He was a past Grand Knight of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon, PA and most recently was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Doylestown.

After retiring from his career as an engineer, he worked for an additional 8 years with Bucks County Transport. While he enjoyed his work, his priority was always his family. He also enjoyed time spent woodworking in his workshop.

In addition to his wife Donna, Jim is also survived by his children and their spouses, Patty and Arlen Zook, Teri and Scott Bryan, James S. Jr. and Lisa Dunn, Jennifer and Joshua McGrory, and Tim and Jen Dunn; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jenica, Brittany, Christopher, Stacey, Sarah, Garrett, Rebecca, Mikayla, Amanda, Nicholas, Joshua Jr., Alivia and Maya; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Luke, Sophia and Braylynn. He is also survived by his brother Anthony Dunn and his sister Cathy Pinge.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass, 11:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State St., Doylestown, PA 18901. Jim’s interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
