William D. Miranda of Barnegat, NJ and formerly of Charleston, SC and Ambler, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, March 29th at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. He was 59.

Born in Long Island, NY, Bill was the son of the late George D. and Josephine M. Mancino Miranda.

Bill was an avid guitar player who enjoyed playing and listening to music. He also enjoyed fishing, watching TV and spending time with friends.

Bill earned his Bachelor Degree in 1976 from Delaware Valley College and worked in the family business, American Lawn Service, for many years. After the family sold the business Bill moved to South Carolina for a few years. Upon his return north he held various jobs, but eventually became an EMT where he enjoyed helping other people.

He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law Susan Leiggi and Phil, his niece and God Daughter Miranda, and his longtime companion Lisa and her daughters, who took care of him and made him a part of their large loving family. Bill will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Bill’s family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5th, from 12:00 Noon until his Memorial Service at 1:00 PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
