Raymond Allen Lewis of Newtown died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence. He was 46.
Born in Bristol, he was the son of Francis George Lewis of Newtown and Doris J. Schneider of Branchburg, NJ.
Ray was a life long resident of Bucks County having recently resided in Newtown and was a graduate of Council Rock High School Class of 1989. Ray was a talented chef who had shared his culinary talents with various restaurants in the area which in included Jean Pierre’s, Otto’s and the Township House. He was avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed watching both the Phillies and the Eagles. Ray will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his parents, Ray is survived by his sister, Mary Dwyer and her husband Mark of Newtown, his two brothers George Lewis and his wife Joanna Kin Lewis of Poland and Francis G. Lewis III and his wife Kristen of Clayton, DE. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Ray’s interment will be private.
