Marie A. Benigno Drobile of Holland, PA peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 12, surrounded by her family. She was 83.
She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Drobile, Jr.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Piraina Benigno.
Marie has been a resident of Holland for 35 years and a faithful parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland where she served as an Extraordinary Minister for 14 years. She was one of the original adorers involved in the St. Bede’s Perpetual Adoration Chapel, and was the coordinator of the parish prayer chain. Marie had a passion for painting and was an accomplished artist working both with water color and oils. She also enjoyed knitting but first and foremost, she enjoyed the special times spent with her family. Marie will be greatly missed, but always remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her five children; William A. Drobile III and his wife, Barbara, of Levittown, Marie C. Farrell and her husband, Paul, of Willingboro, Amelia A. Drobile of Holland, Regina E. Brittingham and her husband, Richard, of Holland, and Jennifer M. Kiriloff and her husband, William, of Churchville. She is also survived by her 8 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Tuesday evening, April 15th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, April 16th, from 8:15 to 9:15 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.
Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Bede the Venerable Church Capital Campaign Fund at the above address or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
