Catherine L. Reichert, formerly of Roxborough died peacefully Sunday April 13, 2014 at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA. She was 99.
Born in Philadelphia she was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late Harry J. Reichert and the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie.
Catherine attended business school after graduation and worked as a Secretary for many years in the advertising industry. Catherine was a faithful communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Manayunk for most of her life, she was a member of the Alter Society, the Sodality and gave her time and talents to many other parish organizations. She was a member of several Senior Centers in the Roxborough and Manayunk area’s before moving to Langhorne to be closer to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her devoted and caring family.
Catherine is survived by her caring children; June Reichert, Harry J. Reichert, Jr. ( Jane) and Katherine Schweiker (Mark S.). She is also survived by her 7 dear grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday April 16, from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am at the Olde Church of St. Andrew 135 S. Sycamore St. Newtown. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Reredos Fund c/o Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940
