Jeanette McCarty passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home. She was 91.

Born in Paupack, PA, she was the beloved wife of the late Edward McCarty and the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Singer Reid.

Jeanette was a lady of multiple culinary talents who was considered by many as an excellent cook and baker.  She also worked alongside her son as a sales representative for McCarty Upholstery of Jamison.  Jeanette was devoted to her family, and she cherished the times she spent creating precious memories with them.  She will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.

Jeanette is survived by her loving and devoted children and their spouses: Edward McCarty and Sally of Hatboro, Patrick McCarty and Evelyn of Jamison, Bonnie Gray and Rick of Telford, and Kathleen Smith and Michael of Chalfont.  She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.    

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, June 15th from 10:00AM until her Funeral Service 11:00AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
