Miriam A. McAnany of Holland died Friday, October 28, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 94.

Miriam was the beloved wife of the late William Francis McAnany.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Violet McIntosh Owens and mother-in-law of the late Robert P. Depman Sr and was the sister of the late Joseph and Dolores Owens and the late Alice Miller.

Miriam was a former resident of Fox Chase section for of Philadelphia for over 50 years before moving to Holland. She was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland and was a member of the Young in Heart Club with the parish. In her leisure, she enjoyed reading and traveling with her late husband Bill. Miriam’s true joy was the quality time she spent with her family especially her great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Miriam is survived by her two daughters, Arlene Depman and Barbara Farrington and her husband Edward, all of Holland. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am on Thursday, November 3^rd in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Miriam’s interment will be private.
