Joseph P. McNulty of Warrington and a long-time Bucks County resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 83.

Joe was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn “Lynn” Shrout McNulty with whom he had shared 42 years of marriage and he was the loving father of the late Brian J. McNulty.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA he was a son of the late Dennis J., Sr. and Josephine Lobda Chrin McNulty.

Joe served with the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper out of Fort Bragg from ’53-’55. He was employed by and retired from The Prudential Insurance Company after 32 years of service as an Agent. Known by many as “Pop Pop Joe,” he spent a great deal of time supporting his twin granddaughters on the sidelines of their soccer games, at their school functions and at the barn watching them horseback ride. In his spare time, Joe was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing poker with his friends.

Surviving are his daughter Jaqueline M. Bandish-O’Hara and her husband, John; his twin granddaughters Kelly and Katelyn Bandish, his brother, Dennis James McNulty Jr. and his friend and companion of ten years, Dolores Young.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Joe’s family on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave., New Britain, PA 18901 and on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1471 Almshouse Rd., Jamison, PA 18929. His interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
