Ruth Ann Aheimer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Newtown, PA passed away October 21, 2016.  

She is survived by her loving husband William G. Aheimer, Jr., her devoted daughter Karen and son-in-law Tony Clintock and their three children Christopher, Emma and Jack.  She was predeceased by her son Kenny and is survived by her daughter-in-law Linda and their children Kenny Jr. and Mackenzie.  She is additionally survived by Bill's five children, their spouses and 14 additional grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  

Born April 7, 1931 to Anthony and Ann Schmidt, she grew up in Hillside New Jersey with her brother Walter and her sister, June.  She married Albert Sterling Forman; together they had two children Kenny and Karen. They were long-time residents in Cranbury NJ.  She retired from GE in East Windsor, NJ where she worked as a secretary for a group of engineers. 

Having lost her first husband Albert to cancer in 1980, she was fortunate to find love again with William G. Aheimer., Jr. They were married January 25, 1992 and were blessed to enjoy 24 years together.  Beside their family, they enjoyed nightly Scrabble games and trips to the casino.  The beach also held a special place in her heart ever since she was young.  She often remarked about how very blessed she was by the Lord.  She lit up whenever she spoke of her children and grandchildren.  She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.  Her interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 840 Cranbury-S.River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
