Thomas A. Connell Jr., of Newtown, PA passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne with his loving wife and family by his side. He was 69.

Tom was the beloved husband of 46 years to Patricia F. O’Connor Connell.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Thomas A. Sr. and Sarah Collins Connell.

Tom was a graduate of West Catholic High School before going on to earn his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. He led a long career in his field, retiring from the role of President and Owner of Johnson March Systems.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children, Thomas A. Connell III and his wife, Kristi, Joanne Russo and her husband, Todd, Mandy Oplinger and her husband, Adam, and Kathleen Wright. He also leaves behind his adoring grandchildren, Sarah and Nate Russo, Kristen Oplinger, and Eve and Caleb Wright; and six granddogs.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940 where his Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM. His interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.
