Kevin W.Chalmers, of Perkasie, PA died on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Pennsylvania Hospital. He was 56.
He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Eileen Chalmers.
Born in New York, NY, he was the son of William L. Chalmers and his wife, Patricia, of The Villages, FL, and his mother, Mary A. Chalmers-Long, of Chula Vista, CA.
Kevin grew up in New Brunswick, NJ, and after graduating from St. Peter’s High School in 1977, he went to work for a printing company in Teterboro, NJ. In the early 1980’s he took a position with Webcraft Technologies (now Quad/Graphics), in North Brunswick, and in 1986 transferred to Bucks County, PA where he and his family remained for the past 30 years.
Even though he left New Jersey over 30 years ago, Kevin loved to root for the New York Giants and Rangers, and he wore their colors with pride. During the summers he loved fishing, relaxing at Long Beach Island and Dewey Beach, and listening to country music.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is also survived by his two children; Jeffrey Kevin Chalmers and his wife, Ashley, of London, England, Reagan Kathryn Hilliard and her husband, William, of Ottsville, PA, and his sister Carolyn Chalmers and her husband, Robert Tompkins, of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his loving granddaughter, Margot L. Chalmers.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service and Celebration of Life at 11:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Red Cross, 2300 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
