John George Timer of Griffin, GA and formerly of Richboro, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was 74.

He was the beloved husband of the late Anne Lyons Timer.

Born in Newark, New Jersey on April 12, 1942, John was the son of the late George and Katherine Lennert Timer and brother of the late Linda Simko.

John was a veteran of the United States Navy, who served his country during the Vietnam Conflict and went on to lead a long career with RCA Electronic Components until his retirement.

He is survived by his children, John Timer II and Tricia Dupell, Pat Wolfe and Jim, Katherine Timer, Jim Timer and Kate. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah Wolfe, Billy Wolfe, Lucy Timer, Kira Timer, Miles Timer, Nick Lopez, his brother, George Timer and JoAnn, his sister-in-law, Pam Lyons, and his brother-in-law, Frank Simko.

Mr. Timer’s family will receive friends on Monday, May 2nd from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00AM in St. Vincent De Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
