Paul W. Wachtendorf, Sr. of Levittown died peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 79.

Born in Philadelphia Paul was the beloved husband of the late Janet L. Devlin Wachtendorf, son of the late Alfred T. and Eleanor Huetger Wachtendorf, brother of the late Alfred and Richard Wachtendorf. 

Paul was a resident of Langhorne in Bucks County for many years before moving to Levittown in 1961.

Paul was a proud alumnus of the first graduating class of Neshaminy High School in 1954. He was an accomplished machinist in the automotive industry, having worked for 25 years at Sodano’s Auto Parts as well as several other companies until he retired in 2005.

Paul had varied interests which he would love to tell everyone about. He loved to go camping with his RV, enjoyed spending many quiet hours bird watching and tinkering with automobiles. Whenever he could help a friend in need, Paul was always willing to lend his time. He will be sadly missed especially for his generous smile and quick wit.

Paul is survived by his devoted children and their spouses; Paul W. Wachtendorf, Jr., Bruce Allan Wachtendorf and his wife Dianne, Eileen Antonelly and her husband Anthony, he is also survived by a step sister Eleanor Shaw and her husband Frank, 2 sisters-in-law Patricia Wachtendorf, and Anne Wachtendorf; his 8 grandchildren (Jeff, Doug, Megan, Eric, Brett, Christopher, Alyssa, Brianna- and a soon to be first great grandchild), and his good friend and companion Charlotte Walter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Friday evening December 18^th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and Saturday December 19^th at the Langhorne Presbyterian Church 125 E. Gillam Ave. Langhorne, from 9:00am until his Funeral service 10:00AM.  Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Warminster.
