Earl L. Swenson, of Perkasie, PA died on Monday, November 30, 2015, at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. He was 85.

Born in Pennsauken, NJ, he was the youngest son of seven children to the late Swen R. and Gladys Erwin Swenson.

Earl was a quiet yet resourceful individual.  He was gifted with his hands and was the family “go-to” person to fix whatever was broken.  First it was toys, then stereos, just about anything electronic, he enjoyed fixing everything.  However, his talents were beyond nuts and bolts.  Earl used his physical skills to install hardwood floors and enjoyed working in his flower garden around his home.  His quiet strength and commitment to family will always be remembered and appreciated.

He is survived by the last of his siblings, his sister, Alice S. Kidd of Pennsburg, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. His two sisters; Ruth Anderson, Dorothea Shawlis, and three brothers, Roland, Robert, and Eugene Swenson all predeceased him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 from 11:30 am until his Funeral Service 1:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  His interment will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, 11:00AM at Doylestown Cemetery.

In grateful appreciation for all of the kindness that was given to him while in Grand View Hospital, the family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory be made to Grand View Hospital, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960.
