Dorothy A. Clark, of Holland, died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Hospice, Meadowbrook.
She was the beloved wife of the late William Clark.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily Volk Dwyer, mother of the late Barbara Ward and sister of the late Jack Dwyer.
Dorothy grew up in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Little Flower High School. She was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland for over 30 years. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling with her husband in their Airstream, and she was bridge player for over 40 years.
She is survived by her loving and supportive children: Rich Clark, Robert E. Clark and his wife Patricia, Wm. Scott Clark, and her son in law Tim Ward, her sisters Emily Bauder, and Joan Gibson, her brothers Edward Dwyer and his wife Pat, and Bob Dwyer and Barbara Dwyer. She is also survived by her 8 cherished grandchildren: Lauren, Breanne, Caitlin, Timothy, Sean, Patrick, Ryan and Shane, and her 3 great grandchildren: Avery, Ryan, and Charlotte.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, July 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 9:00 – 10:00AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland. Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 North Lane, Suite 5010, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
