Eugene Shuttle, Sr., of Glenside, died June 21, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 88.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores. They were married for 53 years.

He was a graduate of Linsly Military Academy, he served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific. Following the war he attended the University of West Virginia earning his degree in 1948. He worked for A. Shuttle Construction, a family business, and later started Telefix a water and sewer line repair company. A devoted husband and family man, he was a volunteer leader for a local Boy Scout troop and at St. Luke’s parish.

Eugene is survived by four children, Eugene Shuttle, Jr. (Anita) of Crofton, MD, Robert Shuttle (Cindy) of Lansdale, Dina Bicakcioglu (Ilham) of Newtown, and Marleis Giangiulio (Craig) of Haddonfield, NJ. Affectionately known as Pop to his nine grandchildren, Eugene III, Alyssa, Austin, Robert, Ryan, Reed, Tylon, Craig and Blaize. Also survived by his sister Laura Nestor of Somerset and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, June 27^th from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 2316 Fairhill Avenue, Glenside, PA 19038 follow by his interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
