John Christian “Baby Jack” Lanyi, of Washington Crossing, passed away gently in the arms of his loving parents on June 10, 2015. He was just 4 months old.
Born on January 14, 2015, he was the son of Ron S. and Gretchen A. Breuer Lanyi and dear little brother of his adoring big sister Eve Lanyi.
Jack started smiling at just 2 weeks old, and quickly laughed his way into the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. It felt, from his earliest days, that he was a special, peaceful baby. His sweetness and calm put all those with him immediately at ease. He was simply our “Angel”. His memory will be cherished; forever young, by all who surrounded him with love and special wishes during his life.
In addition to his parents and his big sister, Jack is survived by his grandparents John and Gertrude Breuer of Yardley and Ronald and Amelia Lanyi of Ewing, NJ; his aunts and uncles, Heidi and Frank Machos and Madelyn and Steve Blandi; and his cousins, Franklin and Ethan Machos.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 44 Bridge St., Lambertville, NJ 08530. His interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, 3925 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
