Julie F. Harbison of Quakertown, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at LifeQuest Health Care, Quakertown, PA. She was 100 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald S. Harbison Sr.

Born on February 11, 1915 in Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John FitzPatrick and Catherine McGuinness FitzPatrick and grandmother of the late Jeffrey D. Harbison. She was also predeceased by 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Mrs. Harbison has been a resident of Quakertown for the past 7 years. Formerly she resided in the Doylestown and New Britain area for 30 years. Mrs. Harbison worked for many years in the food services industry and was also a volunteer dietary aide at Doylestown Hospital. In 1982, Mrs. Harbison and her sister, Catherine Walsh, traveled to Ireland where they had the opportunity to meet Aunt Liz and many cousins and family members. This was a momentous event in her life.

Known lovingly by her many grandchildren as “Mi Mi”, she was always ready for the next family gathering, party, or trip to the shore. She loved to read and was an avid reader until the last few years.

She is survived by her three children, Dianne H. Baughman and her husband, Barry, of Perkiomenville, PA, Donald S. Harbison Jr. and his wife, Joanne, of Doylestown, PA and John L. Harbison and his wife, Sharon, of Horseheads, NY. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Fitzpatrick of Hudson, MA, and her 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Isidore Church, 2545 West Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. Interment will be held privately.
