Patrick Joseph Murphy of Dublin passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2015 at his home. He was 38 years old.
Born in Meadowbrook he was a son of Joseph G. Murphy (Mary) of Chalfont and Donna Hogan Galbraith (Brian) of Dublin and the adoring and devoted father of Devon James, Ella Rae, and Kai Seku Murphy.
Patrick attended Central Bucks West High School and later earned his Bachelor’s degree in African Studies from the University of Minnesota. He then went on to study Law at Hamline University School of Law in Minnesota and had recently been awarded his Juris Doctor degree.
Patrick was an avid lover of all sports, and was especially devoted to Philadelphia teams and coached basketball for the Doylestown Athletic Association. He was also immensely proud of his journey through recovery and touched the lives of all around him with his story.
Above all else, Patrick will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his children and his parents and their spouses, Patrick is survived by his brothers, Shawn and Kevin Galbraith and his sisters, Tarah Cooke (Thomas) and Kathryn Galbraith. He also leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Frances Murphy; his niece, Quinn Cooke; his nephew, Caleb Galbraith; and countless other relatives and friends.
All who knew and loved Patrick are invited to his viewing on Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service 12:00 Noon at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, Inc., 241 E. Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately.
