Carol A. Campbell of Richboro, PA died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 74.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas M. Campbell Jr. for 55 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mildred Seeger Verzicco and sister of the late Anthony Verzicco, Nicholas Verzicco, Elizabeth Devine, Elaine Grady, and Diane Joyce Verzicco.
Carol Campbell, “Mrs. C”, has been a resident of Richboro since 1971. She was employed as the office manager for Lesco Paper & Box Company located in Philadelphia and was a dedicated employee for 57 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking several cruises, spending summer vacations at her home in Margate, NJ and an occasional trip to the casinos. She was completely dedicated to her family and cherished the special times spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her three children, Carol Ann Cohen and her husband, Neal, of Holland, PA, Thomas M. Campbell III of Richboro and Joseph M. Campbell of Warwick, and her five sisters, Shirley Capella of Richboro, Barbara Clark of Philadelphia, Joanne Gleason of Warminster, Mary Delbuono of Philadelphia, and Linda Emore of Philadelphia. She is also survived by four loving grandsons, Matthew, Timothy and Bryan Peka and Joseph Campbell, her great granddaughter, Brooklyn Peka and 2 step granddaughters, Ashley and Lauren Cohen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA and to her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Inc., 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.
